The Introductory session covers the basics of
- Understanding waves formation and breaking
- Uprush backwash
- Lateral currents
- Buoyancy/ floating techniques
- Onshore and offshore winds.
- Beach topography and zones present in coastal waters
- Swimming without spending energy
The session will happen on the beach and sea.
Should be a reasonably good swimmer (pool grade) able to to do at least 100 meters in one go at your own pace.
